That is one of the most important questions that must be determined when you are considering yourself as a whistleblower. You can lose your job and you can suffer other consequences, including jail time, if in fact you were part of the fraud. Sometimes employees are forced into it. Sometimes employees just go along and do commit fraud as well. Sometimes some of these people actually become whistleblowers and make a recovery but the recovery of money oftentimes is accompanied by losing your job, and also maybe even suffering some criminal penalties.
